BLEACHING OF DYE IN PHOTOSENSITIVE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To enable forming image articles having stable colors which are substantially free from the stains of residual dyes. CONSTITUTION: This method for forming the image articles includes: (a) a stage for exposing a positive or negative type photoresist with radiations of about 300 to 1100nm (this photoresist contains (i) a photosensitive compsn. and (ii) a dye, capable of sensitizing a photodecomposable org. halogen compd. by reactively associating with an arom. iodonium salt or triazine halide compd.), thereby forming the image; (b) a stage for removably developing the images obtd. from the stage (a); and (c) a stage for bleaching the sensitizing dye, remaining in the photoresist by exposing the sensitizing dyestuff and the arom. iodonium salt or triazine halide compd. with the radiations of about 300 to about 700nm and heating the same at least at about 40 deg.C.
