PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which can execute a high reliable image forming action by executing transfer, separation and fixing control according to the thickness of a paper. CONSTITUTION:A measurement means 7 measuring the thickness of the paper, a decision means 42 deciding the thickness of the paper according to the measured result of the measurement means 7 and control means 14, 25, 48 and 49 controlling a transfer current, a separation current, the angle of a transfer entrance guide plate, the angle of a fixing entrance guide plate, the temperature of a fixing heater or the like to be prescribed values suitable for the thickness of the paper according to the decided result of the decision means 42 are provided. |
