PURPOSE:To provide the erroneous loading preventing method of an image forming device capable of preventing the erroneous loading of a unit among the plural kinds of image forming devices which are made common in the appearance of the units or the erroneous loading among the units in the color image forming device incorporated with plural developing units, can be effectively prevented from being executed. CONSTITUTION:The electric process unit 1 whose function is different from a main body 2 but whose appearance is made common with it is used in common with the device main body 2. Besides, a sensor signal conductor for control outputted from the unit 1 or terminal positions on the repeater connectors C1 and C2 of a power source line are made to differ for every kind of machine. Then, when a normal sensor signal conducting path is formed, it is judged that the normal unit 1 is loaded. |
