PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of even an image that is photographed in the nighttime and also in the mist through the effective normalization. CONSTITUTION:An image processing means 5 emphasizes the top and the bottom of a luminance distribution curve in regard of only other area except the head lamp irradiating range of its own car occupied in an image photographed by an image pickup means 1 in the nighttime and in the mist. Therefore the satisfactory effect of normalization is secured and the contrast of the displayed image is improved. |
