PURPOSE:To shorten the signal processing time by converting the three- dimensional information on a subject into video signals and driving each pixel of a three-dimensional display panel via a control circuit, a signal processing circuit, and a driver circuit. CONSTITUTION:A camera part A includes one or >=2 pieces of cameras 2, a control circuit 3, a coordinate converter circuit 7 which produces the image contour parts, and a signal processing circuit 8. Then each of (x), (y) and (z) coordinates of the image contour parts of a subject 1 and the color information corresponding to those position coordinates are coded. A driver circuit 5 consists of driving circuits of (x), (y) and (z) directions and shifts the levels of control signals for the color information as well as the (x), (y) and (z) coordinates sent from the circuit 8. So that the voltage is changed and increased up to a displayable level. The scan signals are applied to the (x), (y) and (z) axes since it is needed to extract an optional pixel on a three-dimensional display panel 4 and to apply the voltage between the counter electrodes. Then only the picture elements corresponding to the (x), (y) and (z) coordinates received from the camera part A are turned on the panel 4. |
