PURPOSE:To prevent discharge of a DC power source, a short-circuit of a switching element, etc., when a main relay is closed to be a malfunction by transferring to a malfunction time operation when the relay is closed from a detection result of the relay state, and eliminating closing of the relay and starting of an inverter. CONSTITUTION:When a main relay 26 is closed due to fusion-bonding, etc., in a sate that a control signal CONT to a relay driver 32 is OFF, a signal CREADY indicating that the relay 26 is mechanically opened is OFF. Accordingly, a signal IBNG indicating a closed malfunction of the relay 26 becomes ON through an OR circuit 34, an operational amplifier 36 and a transistor Tr3. As a result, a controller 30 stops starting of an inverter 14 and transfers to a fail operation. Thus, when generation of the signal JBNG is informed by a lamp, etc., a car mechanic sees it to suitably deal with it. |
