PURPOSE:To provide smoothness in fitting terminals by providing a skirt for holding a position of male terminals in a plug member, and accurately position- aligning female terminals of a jack member to the male terminals in the case of inserting the jack member to the plug member. CONSTITUTION:A skirt 32 for holding pin-shaped male terminals 12 of a plug member 14 has an alignment pin 36 inserted into a positioning hole 26 of a jack member 18, and it is position-aligned to the member 14 through the skirt 32. Further, the member 14 has a lock groove 24 for supporting the skirt 32 in a predetermined position, and the skirt 32 has a lock wall part 38 which can be engaged with the groove 24. Accordingly, the skirt 32 properly holds the male terminals 12 of the member 14 before inserting the member 18 to the member 14. The member 18 has an engaging part 30 engaged with the wall part 38 to release it from fitting to the groove 24 when the member 18 is inserted to the member 14. Accordingly, the member 18 is inserted in a condition position-aligned to the member 14. In this way, the female terminals 16 of the member 18 can be accurately fitted to the pin-shaped male terminals 12 of the member 14.
