PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute useless input work by precedingly inputting the absolutely minimum number of confirmable items out of a series of input data, checking the input data, and if an invalid data or an erroneous data exists, dispensing with input work for the data and succeeding data. CONSTITUTION:In a data processing system confirming a series of input data and processing the input data, at least the absolutely minimum amounts of confirmable item data are prepared in a storage device. Input data corresponding to the absolutely minimum amounts of confirmable item data required out of a series of input data to be inputted are precedingly inputted and the input data are confirmed based upon the absolutely minimum amounts of confirmable item data. If an error exists in the input data, the effect is displayed and the succeeding data input operation is inhibited. When there is no error, input data other than the absolutely minimum amounts of confirmable item data out of the series of input data to be inputted are inputted. |
