PURPOSE:To shorten waiting time required for the preparation of medichines on a dispensary arranged on the outside of a hospital by transmitting patient's prescription information diagnosed/treated and prescribed in a medical institution to an outside dispensary previously requested by the patient and executing medicine preparation by the outside dispensary based upon the prescription information. CONSTITUTION:Prescription information from a packing machine is modulated by a modulator 12 through a controller 11 and its modulated transmission signal can be transmitted to outside dispensaries 200-1 to 200n capable of managing patient's medicine history through a telephone exchange network 100. An outside dispensary is previously selected by a patient request and prescription information prescribed for the patient diagnosed/treated in the medical institution 1 is transmitted to the outside dispensary 200 requested by the patient. At the time of transmitting the patient' s prescription information to the outside dispensary 200, the dispensary 200 prepares medicines based upon the prescription information. Since the preparation of the medicines has been already started when the patient arrives at the requested outside dispensary 200, his (or her) waiting time can be shortened. |
