PURPOSE:To provide an antireflection film and an antireflection member each excellent in durability and retentivity of its antireflection effect. CONSTITUTION:A transparent film 1 having 50-300nm thickness and a low refractive index is prepd. and fine particles 2 having 100-600nm average particle diameter which is larger than the thickness of the film 1 are dispersed and held in the film 1 to obtain the objective antireflection film. This antireflection film is laminated on at least one side of a transparent substrate to obtain the objective antireflection member. The surface of the antireflection film is protected by the protruding fine particles 2, the film is excellent in antireflection effect to visible light and the surface is hardly contaminated or scratched. When electric conductive transparent fine particles are contained, antistatic function and more excellent durability are ensured. |
