The method is for controlling a space switch to control reserved switch connection. The method comprises the steps of: (A) processing a reserved channel connection request; (B) finding a highway which containes the requested line and finding empty channel; (C) supervising the reserved channel data; and (D) releasing a channel and returning to a normal state when a release request signal is received.
