A solution is to be created in which the radiation of heat in the direction of the glass ceramic cooking surface is obstructed as little as possible by the mounting elements. In addition, easy assembly of the heating filaments is to be ensured. According to the invention, strip-shaped non-metallic mounting elements (4) are provided, at the spacing which the heating filaments (6) have from each other, with L-shaped receiving slots (7) for receiving the helical wire.
