<p>A cyclic pentapeptide represented by the general formula (I) cyclo (-X?1-X2-X3-X4-X5¿-) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein each Xn (n = 1-5) represents an amino acid residue, i.e., X1 DTrp(2-Br), etc.; X2 DAsp, etc.; X3 Pro1, etc.; X4 DVal, etc.; and X5 Ala, etc. The peptide has endothelin antagonism and is useful for preventing and treating various diseases related to endothelin.</p> |
