[Class 131] A cutting plate for dry shaving apparatus comprises three or more co-planar, apertured cutting paths extending in different directions, the angles between the centre lines of adjacent paths being equal. As shown, the cutting plate has six radial cutting paths, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, these paths which are in line having a common cutting member reciprocated by means of an eccentric pin 18 on a rotary driving spindle. The cutting members bridge each other at their couplings by slots 19, to the pin 18. The central portion of the cutting plate may be apertured and provided with a rotating or oscillating cutting member driven by means of a pin on the common drive. In a modification the cutting paths may be two in number, the centre lines of the cutting paths being at rightangles.to each other. |
