CD case with clamping securement

The case for keeping compact discs has a lower shell 1, an inner part 2 and an upper shell 3. The inner part 2 is secured between the lower shell 1 and the upper shell 3 in such a way that it can swing in the manner of a book. Recessed into its terminating edge 14 are grooves 15, 16, 17 for the clamping securement of three compact discs. The invention makes it possible to keep three compact discs in a case which has the outside dimensions of commercially available cases for one compact disc. <IMAGE>
