Method for driving a windscreen wiper motor (headlight motor)

A method is described for driving a windscreen wiper motor which is driven by an integrated circuit via a relay and has limit switches. In the intermittent mode or wipe/wash mode, the windscreen wiper motor is driven either via the rotation speed of the motor or via the switching-on time of the relay being preset, the respective drive mode being defined by the response of the input signal which is applied to the limit switch connecting pin of the integrated circuit after activation of the windscreen wiper motor.
