The locking mechanism in a lever operated cylindrical lockset secures the outside operating lever in a fixed position. Angularly spaced apart abutment surfaces on the inner end of the outer rollback engage a part of the locking mechanism in its unlocked condition to prevent excessive angular movement of the outside operating lever and protect the lockset operating mechanism. 16 |
