<p>A hair care composition comprising a hair conditioning proportion of an aluminum salt of a fatty acid having 10 to 40 carbon atoms or a mixture or complex of a water-soluble aluminum salt and a water-soluble or water-dispersible salt of a fatty acid having 10 to 40 carbon atoms. The composition may additionally comprise a co-hair conditioning proportion of a water-insoluble oil, lipid or mixture thereof and/or a hair conditioning proportion of a member selected from the group consisting of a cationic hair conditioning agent, a silicone hair conditioning agent and mixtures thereof, wherein the weight ratio of the aluminum salt to the member is in the range of from about 5:1 to about 0.1:1. Methods of manufacturing hair care compositions and applying the same to the hair are also disclosed.</p> |
