<p>A bicycle saddle, or stationary cycle saddle, mounting assembly for mounting a cycle saddle to a cycle frame. The saddle mounting assembly comprises a frame mounting member (3) for mounting the assembly to the frame of the cycle, a saddle mounting member (12) for accommodating the mounting of a cycle saddle thereon, and a linkage arrangement (7, 9) coupled between the frame mounting member (3) and the saddle mounting member (12) for operatively moving the saddle mounting member (12) in an arcuate path relative to the frame mounting member (3) between a relatively more rearward position and a relatively more forward position. Apparatus (29a, 31, 33) is also provided for indexing and locking the linkage arrangement, and in turn the cycle saddle, at a number of different positions along the arcuate path.</p> |
