An adjustment and centring device on the push-through lock of an internally acting power brake is described, in which adjustment and centring device the surface of the guide block (2) in which the push-through lock is mounted is formed on the side facing the inside of the brake as an essentially partially cylindrical outer surface (11) which corresponds approximately to the outer circumference of the adjustment gear wheels (6) of the adjustment and centring device, and in which the adjustment plate (13) is mounted on the side facing the frictional lining of the brake drum in a plane perpendicular to the brake carrier plate (1). As a result, the space which is available for rotating parts inside the brake, such as for example the parts of an anti-lock system, is substantially increased. <IMAGE>
