In a braking and vibrating table, for a transportable design which is capable of considerable loading with a small constructional size and whose hydraulic drive enables a static, a dynamic and also a superimposed deflection, it is provided that table (1), cylinder (3) and pressure generator and control system (2) are arranged component by component on a baseplate, horizontally directly adjacent to one another, that piston (13) and table plate (6) are connected by an easily detachable coupling (4), and that the baseplate can be separated, in the region of the coupling (4), into a first baseplate part (10) carrying the table (1) and into a second baseplate part (11) carrying the cylinder (3) with the pressure generator and control system (2). The pressure-loading of the piston is carried out by means of a dual-circuit pressure generator and control system in two double-acting cylinder spaces separated from each other, a dynamic pressure component being generated in the first circuit and a static pressure component being generated in the second circuit. <IMAGE>
