In order to ensure, as reliably as possible, punctual taking of medicines or drugs by the relevant person independently of the respective time intervals set, it is proposed that a medicine container equipped with a programmable, time-controlled, optical and/or acoustic signal emitter be integrated in a piece of jewelry provided with connecting means for holding elements such as chain, strap or the like for fastening on the body of the patient, so that the medicine container differs from all known containers in that it is permanently connected to the body of the relevant person, so that it cannot be forgotten or misplaced.
