The invention relates to an adjusting device for at least one cam of a camshaft for the actuation of an inlet and exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine, with a two-part cam, one peripheral section of which is fixed to the hollow camshaft and another peripheral section of which is adjustable in a peripheral direction by way of an inner rod actuating an adjusting element, the adjusting element, in order to obtain a robust and structurally favourable design, being a split cotter, radially displaceable in the tubular camshaft, which cotter bears with an inclined face on the adjustable cam section and is actuatable by way of a ramp on the rod.
