The circuit for starting lamps as much as the user wants includes a rectifier having a capacitor (C1) limiting the load current with the capacitance and a zener diode (ZD1) for protection, and a selection switch (8) for voltage division. When the switch is selected to one of contacts (1-4), the voltage is divided proportional to the resistances of the contact resistor and bias resistor. The voltage turns on the zener diode, transistor, and relay so that the lamps connected to the relays are started.
