PURPOSE:To mold a molded article partially or entirely having no flange-shaped edge, generated heretofore in a molding method for impregnating a reinforcing material mat with a liquid resin in a lower mold and curing the impregated mat. CONSTITUTION:In a molding method wherein an upper mold 12 is matched with a lower mold 10 having a reinforcing material mat arranged therein to impregnate the mat with a liquid resin, a placement element 9 having a shape containing a part of an edge or the whole thereof is arranged in the lower mold 10 and the reinforcing material mat is arranged so as not to be substantially superposed on the placement element 9 to be impregnated with the liquid resion and, after curing, the placement element 9 is detached from the cured matter to obtain a molded article partially or entirely having no edge. |
