A swinging device which is intended to be used on playgrounds or in interior spaces. The swinging device (Fig. 1) consists of arches which are circular, elliptical or of some other shape. The swinging device consist of arches 1 which have been laid across each other such that they form a swing which swings in several different directions. Seats 2 for those who are swinging have been arranged at the upper ends of the arches 1 of the swinging device. When swinging with the swinging device according to the invention, the movement trajectories can vary within the limits permitted by the arches. Surprising movements give the playing child a rich play experience. <IMAGE>
