The adhesive is used to bond natural or synthetic elastomers to metallic or nonmetallic substrates under vulcanisation conditions and is based on aqueous dispersions. Such dispersions contain an organic, polymeric film former, an aromatic polynitroso compound, a coactivator and optionally conventional adhesion-improving additives, fillers and processing assistants. In order to broaden the range of applications and to ensure high resistance of the adhesive bond to corrosive effects, the coactivator employed is, in particular, phenylenebismaleimide. |
