<p>PURPOSE:To restrain a duplex shell for air flow transportation of high temperature powder obtained through a melting reduction process, from abrasion and corrosion as well as to transport the high temperature powder in the high temperature condition by equipping a cooling water pipe on the outside circumference of an outside pipe so as to cover a part of the outer pipe. CONSTITUTION:High temperature powder is conveyed with an air flow by supplying the high temperature powder to a passage 7 while a duplex shell 5 is being cooled by running cooling water through a cooling water pipe 6 fixed on the outside circumference of an outer pipe 2. This serves to improve the durability of the outer pipe 2 as the temperature of the outer pipe 2 is restrained from raising and, consequently, a regular steel pipe can be used as well. It further serves to make the diameter of the pipe smaller because the thickness of the insulation layer existing between the outer pipe 2 and a hollow pipe 3 can be reduced. What is more, in event a crack or the like if found on the outer pipe 2 to cause the conveyance gas to inject, the pressure is reported to a control room, which is not shown in the diagram, by indicating the detected pressure.</p> |
