摘要 The high toughness metal-ceramic composite material is produced by (a) mixing 85-95 wt.% chromium carbide (Cr3C2) powder having at most 10 μm average particle dia. and 5-5 wt.% nickel (Ni) powder having at most 30 μm average particle dia., or 65-85 wt.% Cr3C2 powder, 5-15 wt.% Ni powder and 3-20 wt.% molybdenum (Mo) powder having at most 10 μm particle dia., (b) drying the mixture, and (c) vacuum sintering it at 1300-1400 deg.C and 20-30 Mpa. The composite material has a good oxidation resistance and chemical stability, and is used as a guide roller and a skid button material.
