<p>PURPOSE:To simplify sheet size changeover by keeping a sheet loading base in a cassette at a position except for normal use time by an auxiliary elastic member at the time of changing sheet size. CONSTITUTION:A spring change-over device for pressurization changes a pressurization arm as spring pins 17a-c of a slide shaft 13 are engaged with either one of grooves of pressurization arms 19a-d. When an intermediate plate is at a C position, the arm 19a is at a C' position and the other arms 19b-d are at a A' position, a cassette 1 is drawn out of a main body, and then, the intermediate plate 3 passes a contact position B with a paper feeding roller 29 by force of a pressurization spring 21a and moves to the A' position where the arm 19a makes contact with a stopper 25. At this time, so as to enable the slide shaft 13 to slide smoothly, length of a spring 21 at the time when an arm 19 is at the A' positionis set to be in the neighbourhood of free length. Consequently, by supplementing an amount of a load applied on the arm 19a by an auxiliary spring 27, it is possible to smoothly and easily carry out change- over of the spring 21a.</p> |
