<p>PURPOSE:To make a magnetic bar code invisible and to improve its abrasion resistance by forming a masking resin layer on the surface of a magnetic recording layer to cover the magnetic bar code, foming a surface protective layer on the resin layer, and roughing the surface of the protective layer. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic recording card 1, a magnetic recording layer 3 and a magnetic bar code 4 are formed in sequence on a base material sheet 2. A masking resin layer 5 is formed on a magnetic bar code forming surface to cover completely the magnetic bar code 4. Moreover, a surface protective layer 6 is formed on the masking resin layer 5 with the use of mat ink containing a delustering agent. The magnetic recording layer 3 contains 50-99wt.% of a magnetic material. The surface of the protective layer 6 is roughed by the delustering agent contained in it. In this way, the magnetic bar code 4 is made invisible to assure a high degree of security and to improve its abrasion resistance against a magnetic head.</p> |
