Curable mixtures containing (a) an epoxy resin, (b) a sulphonium salt of the formula (I), (II), (III) or (IV) <IMAGE> in which, in the formulae (I) to (IV), A is C1-C12-alkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C4-C10-cycloalkylalkyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, Ar, Ar1 and Ar2, independently of one another, are each unsubstituted or substituted phenyl or naphthyl, arylene is in each case unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene, and Q<-> is SbF6<->, AsF6<-> or SbF5OH<->, and (c) a stabiliser selected from certain aromatic amines containing 1 to 4 NH2 groups with certain substituents in the ortho-position to each amino group, with the proviso that none of the amino groups has both ortho-positions substituted by halogen, or with a selected ortho- or para-substituent to each amino group, or selected from bipyridines, the mixture containing 0.1-10% by weight of component (b) and 0.02-5% by weight of component (c), based on the epoxy resin (a). They are particularly suitable for the preparation of storable prepregs which are rapidly thermocurable and can be pressed to give laminates having excellent properties. |
