PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording body which emits phosphorescence and in which a recorded image is discolored little with time. CONSTITUTION:In regard to a thermal recording body in which a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dyestuff and a coloring agent is provided on a substrate and a protective layer is provided on the recording layer as occasion calls, a thermal recording body in which the recording layer and/or the protective layer is made to contain a zinc sulfide or a zinc-cadmium sulfide activated by copper or bismuth, as a phosphorescent pigment. |
