PURPOSE:To provide a negative heat sensitive film sheet for forming image for overhead projector, in which contrast between opaque portion and transparent portion is favorable and which is excellent in fitness of thermal head, for thermal recording sheet suitable for recording with a thermal head and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:The thermal recording sheet concerned is produced by laminating undercoating layer mainly made of synthetic resin, heat sensitive layer, which is mainly made of hydrophobic polymer emulsion and transparentized by heating, and protective layer made of aqueous composition in the order named. At the formation of the hydrophobic polymer-containing heat sensitive layer in the manufacturing of the thermal recording sheet, the heat sensitive layer dried under the condition that the temperature at its surface does not exceed the lowest membrane forming temperature(MFT) of the hydrophobic polymer. |
