PURPOSE:To obtain a composition giving a molded article having excellent sliding property and free from clouding and staining tendency and giving a molded article having excellent sliding property even in the case of using a polar resin, etc., by compounding a synthetic resin with a polysiloxane modified with a polyether. CONSTITUTION:The composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic resin and (B) 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a polysiloxane modified with a polyether. The component A is preferably a crystalline resin such as polypropylene or a polar resin such as acrylic resin. The component B is preferably a polyether-modified polysiloxane having a higher aliphatic terminal group such as the compound of formula. The polyether-modified polysiloxane having a higher aliphatic terminal group can be produced e.g. by the addition reaction of a hydrosilyl- containing polysiloxane with a polyether having a higher aliphatic group on one terminal and an addition reactive unsaturated group on the other terminal in toluene in the presence of platinum catalyst under heating and stirring. |
