<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively and efficiently produce a decorative plate for use to make the furniture having a beautifully and arcuately curved surface formed on its surface. CONSTITUTION:A decorative sheet 3 and a base plate 1 are attached to the arcuately curved surface and the rear surface respectively of a foam resin or rubber made core plate 2 by applying adhesive agent to their joining faces, such joining faces are pressed together closely by press, both the side edges 4 of the decorative sheet 3 are bent along the side edges 5 of the base plate 1 and, in this condition, they are allowed to stand for a predetermined time until the adhesive agent is hardened, thereby forming an arcuately curved surface on the decorative plate. When this decorative plate is used on the doors of closet or other household supply storing furniture, the arcuately curved surface on the decorative plate is conducive to the production of an appealing furniture.</p> |
