<p>PURPOSE:To provide a foot valve capable of preventing malfunction of a check valve, and of protecting a pump located on the upstream side of the foot valve from wear and choking. CONSTITUTION:In a foot valve 1 provided in order to prevent the water pumped up in a piping by a pump, etc., from reversely flowing into a water reservoir, and to prevent a foreign matters from entering, a foot valve body part 2 provided with a cylindrical part 2a, a conical part 2b extending from the cylindrical part 2a downward, an inlet port 2c provided to the cylindrical part 2a, and an exhaust port 2c provided at the lower part of the cylindrical part 2b, a check valve 3 provided in the foot valve body part 2, and an upstream riser pipe 5 provided in the foot valve body part 2 and extending from the suction side of the check valve 3 downward, are provided.</p> |
