PURPOSE:To obtain a manufacture of a thermal recording body which is excellent in the preservability with time of a recorded image and, moreover, brings forth little ground fogging. CONSTITUTION:A manufacture of a thermal recording body in which a coating liquid for a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dyestuff, a coloring agent and a hindered phenolic derivative is applied on a substrate and in which at least one kind of pigment selected from calcium carbonate, calcium sulfoaluminate, magnesium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide is added, by 5 to 300wt.% to the hindered phenolic derivative, to a dispersion prepared by subjecting the hindered phenolic derivative to a wet-type pulverization processing so that the average particle size thereof be 2.0mum or below and then is subjected to a heating treatment so that the temperature be in the range of 35 to 60 deg.C, and the coating liquid for the thermal recording layer containing the dispersion thus obtained is applied. |
