PURPOSE: To contrive growth of bubbles when opening a container by providing in the container an insert with the second chamber communicating with the first chamber through a small aperture. CONSTITUTION: A hollow plastic insert 5 is put in from an opening of a can 1 and fixed to the bottom. The insert 5 forms the second chamber 10 within the first chamber 16 and has a narrow aperture 12. Then beer 15 is filled, a proper amount of liquid nitrogen is added on the stout 15, air in a headspace 19 is removed with nitrogen gas produced from liquid nitrogen, and can 1 is inverted after sealed. At that time, the narrow aperture 12 of the insert 5 communicates with the headspace 19 and gas pressure in the inserted chamber 10 is equilibrated with that in the headspace 19. After reaching the equilibrium, the can 1 is inverted again to return to the original state. When the can 1 is unsealed to pour the beer 15, pressure in the headspace 19 comes down to atmospheric pressure, and gas in the insert chamber 10 jets into the beer 15 from the aperture 12 with the pressure difference to form bubbles on surface of the beer 15. |
