DOME TYPE TIRE VULCANIZING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To uniformize the supply of a vulcanizing medium into the dome of a dome type tire vulcanizing machine by providing a barrier plate in the vicinity of a heating medium supply port to disperse the flow of a heating medium by the collision of the heating medium with barrier plate. CONSTITUTION:A large number of crosspiece members are radially provided to a discharging shaped base in a protruding state and mold devices 3 are concentrically arranged on the crosspiece members 2. A dome 6 consisting of a lower dome 6a and an upper dome 6b is provided to the outer peripheral part of the base 1 in a raised state and the lower and upper domes 6a, 6b are made separable. Predetermined gaps are formed between the outer peripheral end surfaces of the crosspiece members 2 and the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the lower dome 6a and heating medium supply ports 7 are provided within the height range of the crosspiece members 2 of the lower part of the peripheral wall of the lower dome 6a and a barrier plate 8 is fixed to the outer peripheral end surfaces of the crosspiece members 2 in opposed relation to the supply ports over the half periphery of the base 1 so as to provide a gap of 5mm from the base 1 in an up and down direction. Temp. detection sensors 10 are arranged at the positions where the barrier plate 8 of the peripheral wall of the lower dome 6a is absent. Therefore, supplied steam is dispersed in a peripheral direction and an up and down direction to be uniformly supplied into the dome 6.
