DNA SEQUENCE ENCODING NEW PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE POLYPEPTIDE, ITS EXPRESSION VECTOR AND TRANSFORMANT

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a DNA sequence encoding a polypeptide which has higher activity than that of natural human gamma-interferon, its expression vector and transformant. CONSTITUTION:The DNA sequence encoding the polypeptide of the amino acid sequence from the No.1 to No.135 positions among the 146 amino acids in the naturally occurring human gamma-interferon, the expression vector to which the DNA sequence is linked effectively for expression, and the organism transformed with the vector. The use of the DNA sequence encoding the peptide, the expression vector and the transformant gives a peptide of higher physiological activity than that of natural human gamma-interferon.
