PURPOSE:To obtain hard copy by matching the timing of information signal and copying machine, by detecting the end of image supporting body to stop image supporting temporarily, and sending the image supporting body again by the input of information signal. CONSTITUTION:An image is exposed on a drum 5 by means of an optical fiber cathode ray tube OFT 10, and changed into a visible image by means of a developing apparatus 11. When this visible image moves to point C, a paper 21 is temporarily stopped by a detection switch 37. By matching with the timing of the rotary movement of the visible image, the paper 21 is conveyed by rollers 26, and the visible image and the paper are brought to coincidence at point C. Therefore, in the case of various pieces of information differing in the retrieval time, the visible image may be made to coincide with the paper 21 exactly, and the timing of the information signal and copying machine may be securely adjusted, so that hard copies corresponding to an arbitrary retrieval time may be obtained. |
