PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording body which is excellent in shelf life of a recording image and hardly causes deterioration of whiteness degree (texture blushing) by change with the lapse of time by incorporating the material shown in the specified chemical formula as a colorant which reacts with colorless or light-colored basic dye and is colored. CONSTITUTION:Color reaction of colorless or light-colored basic dye and a colorant which reacts with the same and colors is utilized for a thermal recording body. In the case, at least one kind of the material shown in the formula mentioned elsewhere is incorporated as the colorant. However, in the formula, X shows halogen. For example 4-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-4'-chlorobiphenylsulfone and others are used for the thermal recording material shown in the formula. Thereby the thermal recording body is obtained which is excellent in shelf life of a recording image and hardly causes deterioration of whiteness degree (texture blushing) by change with the lapse of time. |
