PURPOSE:To improve marking accuracy, and to facilitate a marking operation by splitting and composing by moving a deflection position to a work surface by a second deflector for each scanning transmitted light of each split pattern by a first deflector in a pattern split direction. CONSTITUTION:The information of one line-shape split pattern is extracted in the temporary memory of a controller 11 from a main memory, and an extracted split pattern is displayed on a liquid crystal mask 6 according to the extracted split pattern information. Next, after the second deflector 7 is driven in a marking direction on a work 10 according to the address information of the split pattern, it is allowed to stop. Scanning is performed on the liquid crystal mask 6 by a first deflector 3 until the split pattern scanning is completed while oscillating a laser beam with a Q switch. After the completion of the scanning, the laser oscillation is allowed to lower its intensity with the Q switch. The above processes are repeated until the extraction of all split pattern information is completed, that is, until the composite printing of the whole pattern on a work 10, is completed. |
