ELECTRIC CONDUCTION HEATING CATALYST STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To increase the strength of an unjunctioned part between metal foils which constitute a heating part in a partially heating catalyst carrier. CONSTITUTION:A metal foil 6 which is unjunctioned to an adjacent metal foil is junctioned to a sleeve 3 through each junction member 9, in the heating part of a catalyst carrier 2. Consequently, the metal foil 6 is supported by the sleeve 3 through the junction member 9, so that that supported part is strengthened and no slippage occurs between the metal foils due to an exhaust pressure.
