<p>PURPOSE:To provide a compact and inexpensive liquid separator with higher controllability, simpler handling of a tube and higher separation accuracy by enabling the taking out of components of blood from one direction without changing the position of an intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:The position of an intermediate layer S3 in a master bag B1 is detected with an interface detection member 43 to perform a control of opening or closing a clamp member 12 so that the intermediate layer is at an intermediate position in the master bag B1 and liquids in an upper layer S1 and in the lower layer S2 within the master bag B1 flows to slave bags B2a and B2b. There is no change in the position of the intermediate layer S3, so that the intermediate layer S3 will not spill to the slave bags B2a and B2b. The weight of the master bag B1 is measured continuously with a weight measuring section when a container is pressured to allow the detecting of the residue of a liquid in the master bag B1 constantly. Thus, with the weight of the intermediate layer S3 known previously. the separation of a fluid is possible with higher separation accuracy without the spillage of the intermediate layer S3 from the master bag B1.</p> |
