PRODUCTION OF RIGID URETHANE FOAM WITH IMPACT ABSORPTION PROPERTY

PURPOSE:To provide a method useful for effectively treating a urethane foam waste and scrap to produce a rigid urethane foam with impact absorption property. CONSTITUTION:The method comprises at least reacting an isocyanate component with a polyol component to produce the desired foam, the polyol component comprising 5-100wt.% reclaimed polyol obtained from a liquid resulting from the decomposition of a flexible urethane foam derived from a polyether polyol.
