PURPOSE:To obtain a shampoo composition, excellent in foaming power, having mild action on the skin and hair and further capable of manifesting excellent conditioning effects on improvement in combing properties and coherency of the hair. CONSTITUTION:This composition comprises (A) 1-20wt.% salt of an N- polyoxyethylene fatty acid amide sulfate expressed by formula I [R is 9-15C alkyl or alkenyl; M is alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium or organic amine; (n) is 2-5, (B) 0.5-3wt.% one or two or more silicones expressed by formula II [R1 is wholly methyl or a part thereof is phenyl (with the proviso that >=90% of the total number of groups R1 is methyl); R2 is methyl or OH; (m) is 900-2200] and further (C) 0.01-4wt.% quaternary ammonium derivative of a silk fibroin-derived peptide of formula III [R3 is 8-20C alkyl or 8-20C alkenyl; A is 2-3C hydroxyalkylene or 2-3C alkylene; R4 is the side chain of the amino acid constituting the peptide; (h) is 2-30]. |
