<p>The process for separating and purifying cobalt component by solvent extraction from an acidic aqueous solution of tool scrap containing cobalt as a main component, wherein the metal components other than cobalt, nickel and base metal are transferred to the solvent phase by first-stage solvent extraction using oxime or phosphoric acid type organic solvent or mixed solvent thereof, and then stripped with mixed acid of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, and only cobalt component of the remaining aqueous solution containing cobalt, nickel and base metal is separated and purified by second-stage solvent extraction using phosphoric, phosphorous, or phosphinic type organic solvent is provided.</p> |
