PURPOSE:To provide a commuter pass which can smoothly be inspected of its validity and has a good property for preventing forgery. CONSTITUTION:A visible transparent marking pattern 4 indicating the validity of the section of a line one travels, the term of validity, and others is formed on a commuter pass. For example, transparent infrared absorption ink or transparent fluorescent ink is used for the discrimination mark of the transparent marking pattern 4. A valid bar code can not be formed even when the marking pattern 4 of this kind is copied using a copying machine, giving a good property for preventing fogery. When a device for discriminating commuter passes like a laser reader which inspects the marking pattern 4 by a non-contacting method is installed, for example, at a ticket gate of a station and others, the examination of commuter passes can be carried out smoothly. |
